Stanley Ridgeway

Chief

Chief Ridgeway grew up in Pepin, Wisconsin. He got his Associate's Degree at Western Technical College and attended Law Enforcement Academy (LE Academy) there as well. He started his law enforcement career as a police officer for Pepin PD in 1999 before being hired full-time with the Trempealeau Police Department in 2000. He was promoted to chief in 2002 and then hired in Durand as police chief in 2011. In his free time, Chief Ridgeway enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, and sports.

John Schellhorn

Sergeant

Officer Schellhorn grew up in River Falls, Wisconsin. He received a Bachelor's Degree from UW-Eau Claire in Criminal Justice and attended LE Academy at the CVTC in Eau Claire, as well. He started full-time with Arcadia PD and also worked part-time with Independence PD, Strum PD, and UW-River Falls PD, before being hired on with Durand full-time in 2017. When he has time, Officer Schellhorn enjoys hiking camping, hunting, and any other outdoor activities.

Brandon Bonnerup

School Resource Officer

Officer Bonnerup grew up in Albert Lea, Minnesota. He got his Bachelor's Degree from UW-Stout in Criminal Justice and Rehabilitation and attended LE Academy in CVTC - Eau Claire. He started working part-time for Pepin PD and Durand PD and also as a reserve deputy with Dunn County before being hired full-time for Durand PD in 2018.  He enjoys hunting, fishing, biking, and running.

Chris Erickson

Police Officer

Officer Erickson went to school for 2 years at the university of North Dakota. After he graduated, he took a year off. He started his law enforcement career with The Village of Pepin and fell in love with Pepin County. He went to CVTC in Eau Claire and attended the police academy in the summer of 2020. He worked for the Village of Pepin for a year and a half before joining Durand PD. Officer Erickson enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, golfing, anything on the water, and hunting with the occasional nap in the tree stand. He and his wife are very excited to become a part of the community here and get to know the area and the surrounding communities.
